I started the AFROISMASSIVE website back in February 2021 after countless conversations regarding the lack of knowledge surrounding Afro hair within the British hairstylist community.

I decided to actively use my experience within Film & TV to offer Afro hair education and support to hairstylists within the industry.

Why I started Dear Hair Stylists Series?
The video below is an introduction to my Dear Hair Stylist Series where I explain why I felt the need to start creating this series.
Despite going into 2022, there is still a serious lack of training for hair stylists on how to style afro hair. As a result there are still Afro hair performers who experience emotional and physical trauma everyday behind the scenes of even our favourite movies and tv shows.
This series is aimed at hair stylists who values the wellbeing of every Black performer who sits in their chair. I share insights, help and support to help all hair stylists improve their Afro hair techniques and duty of care to their colleagues on set.
